Gay Defined
Once upon a time, a mere 30 years ago, it still meant without doubt: lively; bright; sportive, merry; wanton, dissipated, a loose life; showy, spotted. Today it is almost exclusively used as an adjective by which society at large labels all HOMOSEXUAL sex and behaviour. Once upon a time the word queer was used instead to label such behaviour, but that is no longer politically correct and not even lawful. The use of the word queer is now reserved exclusively for use by members of the homosexual sector of the population (estimated to be at 1.5 to 3 percent of the population).
